Ignition problem? or starter wires?
Hello, I just bought a 1983 ford f150 and when i first got it home i put a battery in it and it just started cranking with the key off. Having run into this before i replaced the starter solenoid and it stopped. but that didnt fix my problem, now nothing happens when i turn the key except the battery light comes on. if I jump the solenoid it will crank but nothing with the key off. I replaced both of the battery cables, battery and starter. anyone have any insight on my problem?
