Truck for sale...

Hi Folks,
We have a local weekly publication here that offers free classified ads to private individuals. They have a section called the Mobile Market which covers cars. trucks, motorcycles, boats, campers and trailers. It came out today and I found three items of interest. Here they are:

'52 Ford F5 truck, flathead V8, 4speed California vehicle, no rust, good boby, runs good. $4,000.00 Phone 740-423-8212

'51 Ford 4 door coupe, V8 auto trans. 740-585-2850

'50 Studebaker truck, great shape, in primer, $4,000.00 304-771-1231

Normally I wouldn't do this but I thought it just might be of interest to someone here. If Bill sees this he will probably drive the 150 miles down here to get that F5. If I had the money I'd probably buy them all.

Later Folks...

I should have said, if I had the money, the space and a very understanding wife, I'd buy them all. Of course I don't have even one of those three things, so I guess my point is moot. Dang it...

I also threw the Studebaker in there because I though you might be interested in it. Granted these prices may be a bit high but then again they might be worth it depending on their condition.

Hey, I thought I might at least bait you into stopping by. BTW, go to my Rides4Rides site and click on NICE RIDES to see the 50 Studebaker I brought up from Georgia, (the state, not the country).

Later Man...

I have a total of 8 trucks and have tons of parts and need to blast/grind/prime and paint all of them. I am also bringing the diesel 56F350 back, asap. I also have 2 1956 ford trucks in Florida. Thanks, but must do some work or parts will rust out,and I won't like that!! Bill

Where abouts in Michigan were ya looking? and what year trucks? Unfortunately I haven't had much time to get out and hunt for old metal lately.

I was along the Wisconsin border and also in Sturgis and then to Lansing.....I got a nice 56 hood /rear bumper/tailgate/ and fenders--but the front pass fender has a huge cut-out in it. Anyway--between the parts and maybe a truck I did ok.....1956 is what I buy---but need a radiator and a driveshaft and valance or 2.
My diesel 56 is coming home and it runs but my buddy has to go to work in Washigton--so I might bring her home. 56 f350 NOW--WAS A 56 F600.
