i have a 2002 Ford F-150 and i would like to know where the IAT sensor is located. anyone who could help me it out would be greatly appreciated. I'm kinda looken for a picture or diagram of where it is. I have the v6 engine
Not familiar with the v6 but they are usually located in the air intake plumbing between the air filter and the throttle body near the mass air flow sensor.
There's usually one common reason that people are looking for the IAT sensor: They have purchased one of the scam resistors off ebay and are trying to figure out how to hook it up.
If so, either throw it away or try to get your money back from the scammer.
my grandpa made me one so i figured id try and see if it works like they say cause no disrespect but you cant knock it till you try it and if you believe what everyone else says what do you stand for?
What project is saying, is that the resistors that people install in the IAT circuit don't work. All that these resistor do, is fool the ECM into putting more fuel into the engine. This richens the mixture and is supposed to produce more power but, in reality it does not produce any real gains in power and kills your gas mileage. Who in their right mind wants to do that these days! Good luck!
If you KNOW how things work, you can point out obvious and glaring stupidity that goes against the engineering of the system.
and if you believe what everyone else says what do you stand for?
..and if you believe anything and everything that comes along without being able to apply a critical thought process to it in in your head, you'll fall for every stupid idea that comes along because you WANT it to be true.
