57 Ford Regulator/Generator Wiring

Had my generator rebuilt. When it was reinstalled the generator dash light doesn't work anymore (works when I test it seperate) and now there is power to the coil wire all the time, even with the key off? The truck runs and the generator is working. Is the regulator wired wrong there are 2 wires to "bat" one from solenoid and one to ignition(this is the wire that is giving power to coil all the time). One on the "FLD" going to top of generator and one from "ARM" going to back of generator. One ground from regulator bracket screw to top of generator. There is another ground wiring from top of generator that goes to a resistor spliced into the "ARM" wire.
