Allow me to introduce myself.

Hi guys, my name is Dave, I just came across this site and it looks like it might be just what I need. I am in the process of painting my 54 Mercury. It has a small block Chev, Mustang 2 front end. Here are a couple in progress shots. It will be baby blue (like the dash) when it is done. WAY more work than I planned...

Welcome to FTE. This really is a pretty awesome place online. I'm part of other forums for other vehicles, but whenever I'm stumped this is the place I come to.

Like all forums this is the best place to find a manure load of guys (and a few gal's) opinions, but unlike most forums you CAN actually get real help too! Fill in where you're located, if we're nearby, we love to swing over and check out another project. Oh, and sure, you can use my color.

Welcome to the site. Yep everything usually takes 3x the time you planned it would take. The good news is by visiting this site often you can save time on most things, the knowledge here is unbelievable. Caution you will not gain more time though because any time saved on the truck will most definatly be used up back on here.:

Welcome.

Hey there. Welcome.

Chev in a Ford, qualifies for the darkside but, a word of advice, don't believe what they tell you about cookies. I haven't seen any yet.

One of the problems I am having is that this thing used to be a long box (was shortened before I got it). The tailgate is 52 inches wide, I am looking for a tonneau cover for it but methinks that most are for truck boxes 48 inches wide.
