Well I been like those because it was tougher truck.

One problem my friend want keep engine and transmission it is replace 351 with jasper e40d.

Well I have 93 4.9L but don't have transmission I think c6 would be ok since I can get one from his junk 93 F350.

Will computer on f250 work with 4.9L or it need right one? I don't want waste money if computer won't work with my engine.

Thank plus it have little rust but I need truck for work so I can keep my 79 f150 forever.

you'll have to get a new computer to go with the I6. I would totally just get a new computer with the 300 cuz that motor will go forever. and when i say forever i mean forever. but what kind of truck did you get the I6 out of and why didnt you get the computer with it? get the C6 tranny out of his F350 and you'll be set.

 

93 4.9L motor I bought from guy several months ago he didn't get computer plus truck was scrap already But motor is good but need new gaskets.

motor came from F150 with AOD but truck was too junk rusty, fade paint, and much broke parts. he say miles was around 100,000 miles but start slow down when gas price was go up so he stop use for several years then decide scrap it.


So I will need look for computer? How much for new or used?

What good place for cheap computers?
