Gearheads in Mansfield, TX or Speed Zone in Longview, TX both use on site dynos to tune. In Houston, Fastlane is one of the best in the country. Honestly, unless you want something exotic the canned tunes in the 3015 XCal3 or 9600 Livewire work great. You can buy them from the same shops.

You can tow in OD, no need to turn it off unless the transmission is hunting in and out of OD.

Way I was always brought up is that you take it out of OD when towing with an auto(this was of course before the days of the torqshift). I knew one guy that didn't take it out of OD and next thing he knew he had a 2k tranny overhaul bill while hauling a bass boat(he too had a 150, now I don't know if it was hunting gears or not but it could have been and he never took it out, I just don't know on that).

It WILL NOT HARM a 4R70W,4R100,or 5R110(torqshift) to tow in OD,as long as the engine is not hunting for an optimal gear for your desired speed.

All I did was say how I was brought up, that is all and I give a particular situation(or atleast all that I knew about it).

Personally I wouldn't tow in overdrive with a 4R70w/e or 4R75w/e. The reason is the 4-2 downshift is very hard on them and prone to failure when done often under harsh conditons (WOT, heavy load, etc.). Under WOT/load this tranny skips 3rd on the way down and goes straight to 2nd. Its one of the reasons why people who do a lot of custom tuning with lots of experience will tell you to take it out of overdrive just before stomping the gas.

+1 on not towing in OD. Unless the tranny programming is modified the "hunt and seek" shifting will eventually end up with damage.
