Ken, I am sorry that I can not help you on that request. I am just far enough west that some of the Syracuse stations are hard to pull in. Now if you were in the Rochester area, then I could help.

Neil...thanks for putting in a good word with the border patrol...I'm still going to wear my bullet proof vest!!! The only thing I have to worry about now is getting past Exit 15...Carl has warned me that he's a good shot!!!

I'm headed out now to have my tetanus booster...the NY Health Department requires an endorsement on our passports!!!

Morning NY and all. We will have rain this weekend because there is NASCAR at the Glen, and we are trying to prep a Grand Marquis for a demolition derby.

Good evening folks..... been real busy the last few days. Had a wedding to go to today, been cutting firewood for the winter, the wife got another puppy to add to our pack (we are back up to 3) plus I have been having some computer issues.

Can we all say fun ????????

NY George.... it has been awhile since I have prepped a car for a demolition derby. My county's fair starts on Monday and my fire dept. has been asked to work the demos that night. I am not able to go because of a conflict with another meeting that I have to chair.

 

Hey Neil, We got most of the prep work done today. Plus I picked up a few window motors, that will fit my truck,with some other goodies. Also a good front fender and header panel I'll use for a project in the making. Trouble is that I am running out of room to store these "finds"

 

I know that a freind of mine has ran a car down there in T-burg in the past and I believe that he ended up winning the whole thing. So what year and model is the car of your choice for the demo ???
At the fair here they run demos on Monday, Thursday and Saturday nights. Sat. they have heats and then the finale has all of the heat winners from the three nights go for the gold and the winner then goes to the state fair. They also run Figure 8 races and this year I think that they have made it a double figure 8.
