With the NJ and PA drivers I almost lost the Ranger about 6 times just on the way here. Guess it's my fault for letting my guard down a little after leaving MA...
And as I got closer to Carlisle there were "Warning: Be Aware of Agressive Drivers" signs on the side of the highway.

Yeah...driving the Joisey Pike can be quite the adventure!!! I don't remember PA as being too bad...just a very long state!!!
I'm headed to the Syracuse area on Saturday...my niece is getting hitched!!!
Some of the New York guys have warned me about displaying my Saawx allegiance!!!

Down town there were lots of shops and houses decorated similar to this.
There was a shop with a Confederate flag on the right and US flag on the left (as looking when leaving the store) but I missed the opportunity for a pic.

This was in the parking lot of the Gettysburg Museum
It was from Maine. And I also saw a Scion XB from NH when I was leaving the Museum.
We opted not to drive the battlefield. Yes I will be hitting myself in the future for not doing it but hey, it's only a 9 hour drive there.

Too bad the battlefield was so far away...I'm sure it would have been quite an experience. I'd love to be able to visit there!!!
Sounds like it's one of those things where you need a lot more time than you have in order to really appreciate what you're seeing.

The battlefield's not 9 hrs away...the whole place is ~9hrs from my front door. But what's 9 hrs anyway.
And yeah there's a lot to see in Gettysburg.
The museum alone takes at least an hour to tour.
