I am putting a 79 steering column in my 67 ford truck the column is from 79 f150 no cruise control has anybody ever wired this I see some of the same color wires are they the same between these years does anybody have a wiring diagram for these two years of trucks. Thanks in advance

 

Most of them are the same.
The problem you will be finding with this is the emergency lights.
On the 79 EVERYTHING RUNS off the hazard light switch on the cloumn whereas on thr 67 the Hazard light switch is on the dash or glove box.
You will have to use the 79 wiring for everything to work properly.

Have you considered purchasing wiring diagrams from motorhaven.autoanything.com ?

If this is a one time thing, maybe ask me about specifics.
