I can understand your admiration for the scenery finding springtime to be one of my favorite times of the year here. Looks like where you are over in Gillette you should have all the the work you could want and more right now.

BS site?

Yea wyotech is fairly large. There moving all campuses to one location on the west side of I80. instead of being split into 3 campus, one on grand (business classes) one on 287 north (aka North campus) and west campus on venture ave just an ear shot from i-80.

Yea ive been here since march, and your summers, no offence are a joke. It got to 100* down in laramie and everybody freaked. in oklahoma weeks on end of 100+ wasnt something out of the ordinary. But im taking some time off in july to go back and see my family and go out on the lake and get smashed...

I like our summers that are a joke. 100 degrees is too darn hot. Humidity sucks, too. I don't miss that midwestern weather one bit. The lake parties were fun, but I enjoy the mountain parties much more... great break from the heat in the summertime when you can enjoy some 70 degree weather in July on the mountain!

Welcome Anthony, hope you enjoy the forum!

Hey, names Corey. I'm currently attending the University down here in Laramie, but before that I hailed from good ol Sheridan. I got a 1978 F150 up there and right now I'm driving a 2003 Screw. Just thought I'd say hey. Later.

I liked Laramie for the first three years and then I got sick of the cold. I started out in engineering and decided that I was not dedicated enough to finish with that so I got a BS in business management.

Yeah, I know a few people who decided engineering wasnt for them. I didnt declare until about 2 years in, but I got all the generals out of the way fast. By the way I really like your 79 truck. I went ahead and added some pics of my 78 on my page if you want to see it. Its nowhere near as nice as yours though.

Corey, I like your 78. I am a big fan of the short boxes. My 79 has been a huge money pit the past few years but turned out nice. I want to build a streetable 557 so I can drive it to work a few days a month and then still be able to race it on the weekends.

I really like my truck, it just isnt the prettiest thing out there, sounds amazing though. I'm guessing a lot of people like these short beds because I've been trying to find a replacement bed in good condition for four years now and have had no luck in the process.

Its got a 400 V8 in it I believe, its the engine that was in it when I got it so im not certain. Its a tough engine though, after I rolled it, it started right back up and ran fine. Then I put on two glass packs and some echo tips to help it out. Its a low geared truck, not sure what gears, but to go 30 mph I have to use fourth gear and first gear is basically useless. But yeah if you hear anything on beds you can let me know if you dont mind.
