I got this kit and haven't had to mess with anything else -
eBay Motors: 99-04 Ford F-250/350 2" Leveling Lift Kit 4wd (item 110275046049 end time Aug-04-08 22:34:17 PDT)

I've gone about 4000 miles since the install with no problems

I replaced my front leaf springs with heavier duty leafs like the code x and now the front end sits higher then the rear what can I do to level it out better?

You'll like a level truck!
I did an add-a-leaf about 60,000 miles ago, no changes to steering, no problems. I've even driven into a ditch hard enough to knock the quad out of my bed, and all is still well...
