If you are not worried about warm up in cold climates or converting to an exhaust brake, then this is a good deal. I did the blank pedestal and EBVP delete housing on my turbo with no adverse effects. Helped with EGTs and annoying leak from pedestal @ EBVP actuator rod.

I dont have that exact kit, but I have the same stuff essentially. (TN HFO, and NON-EBPV pedistal) I wish I knew the before and after egts, but this was done before the dp/gauges. The main reason also, was to get rid of my ebpv that was sticking everytime it engaged. Which causes a serious amount of trouble, trying to merge into pittsburgh traffic, on a morning. Sometimes it would take 10 mins to get it to open back up. Untill that point, you have absolutely 0 power, and can go 25 on the flat, and possibly 45 down a long hill. I live in PA and it gets down to, and below zero. I have absolutely no trouble starting. I do have a good working glow plug/ relay set though. The ebpv essentially allows you to let the truck sit, and warm up faster. I will never have one again though, due to the sticking issue.

I bought that exact setup. Of course it is mounted with my BB turbo. I don't miss that stupid EBV assembly one bit.
