Merry Christmas

Christmas NC
This year we decided to put the truck in front of the yard, and decorate it instead of the house (my wife said no more climbing ladders). Earlier this week a gentleman came by the house and asked to take a picture of the truck with a quilt that his daughter made with trucks on it, then he asked if we would bring the truck down the street to his barn at sunset for another picture. Last night his daughter gifted us the quilt, a Christmas to remember. This is the year of the Christmas truck, and it has fun to see how many people really enjoy seeing the old girl lit up. I think next year I need to find a Grinch costume for the drivers seat, so he can appear to be stealing the tree.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks for sharing both the picture and story. It's nice to see there's still kind and appreciative folks around.

Went to the local market. Saw this refrigerator magnet.

Los Olivos = The Olives.
So maybe olive green works here.
Wine country here too: note wine barrels.
Wine grapes are green before ripening.
Maybe the dog should have been a red setter.
