My 89f150 4X4 5.0 has been stalling after driving for 2-3 mins. It feels that it runs out of gas then turn the key a few times and it starts and runs fine. Then one morning it wouldn't start at all. I put a new pump in the tank a month ago. I replaced the HP pump and it ran fine then next morning wouldn't start again, not to sure where to go next???

 

ok so it wont start in the morning but it will start in the afternoon no problem?

I have that exact truck, and actually had that same problem. My solution was a bad TPS (throttle position sensor). It would start good in the morning because it had time to lose the code. But once i got driving it would try to die on my if i let my RPMs drop. And if it did die, it took a little while to get it rolling again. The TPS is under your throttle body. Its a black little device with two wires that i think are green and red (orange?) Its pretty easy to change out.
