Yeah, that might be a career ending conversation!
But, on the upside, I would be able to sit at home drinking beer and chatting on FTE all day... wonder if the wife would mind?

I'm about 4 pages behind......but most of the guys at work have $30k and up in tools. Kenny and I are just starting out.....I have about $12k of Mac/Cornwell junk in a cheap International Tool Box sold to me by none other than NAPA.......it does the job but it's only 41" so it's full. I need to upgrade. I'm either going to get a 58" Snap-On, a 58" Cornwell like Kenny's, or a 67" Cornwell.....I don't know for sure but I'm guessing that the big Cornwell will be about the same price as the Snap-On one by the time I get it like I want it. There's probably about another $5k in tools that will get spent this year at school. The old timers that started out in the mid 70's at my age say that a basic set was about $250....now it's $2500 for the same brand!!!!
For most people Harbor Freight, NAPA, Craftsman, etc are GREAT tools. I use mine everyday and they need to work everytime, and take all the abuse I throw at them. If you opened the tool box in my pickup you'd find Stanley, and some cheap no-name junk (I did bugger up a 3/8" extension out of that no-name set though).......
