Hi,

Are you looking for front or back?

I just replaced all the front u-bolts on my truck. C&G Ford truck carries them, but they are a little pricey!!!!

I called the local suspension shop, "San Diego Spring", and they make them right on the spot. They made me a complete new front set (including lock washers and nuts), they fit perfect and cost $45.

So, check your local suspension shop, and if they don't have them, send me a PM and we can work something out where I can gat you a set made and UPS them back to you. Also, if you need the measurements, they are in the "48-52 Ford Truck Chassis Parts Manual," pg 172. If you need a scan of the page let me know.

Julie!

Ditto on finding a spring shop, they usually make them and can add threads if you're takin any leaves out.

Spring shop… Take one of your old ones in and have them make you a set. They will fit right the first time and ya don’t have to wait/pay for shipping to boot.

All they need to know is the diameter of the axle tube and the bolt diameter, their machine has standard dies that punch them out. The only thing I don't like about spring-shop made U-bolts is that they don't have the flattened strap over the axle, which spreads out the load better (won't dent the axle tube).
