Undo the bolts, and get a few buddies to help carry it off

If you plan on standing it on-end (as in standing up vertically on the tailgate side) take the taillights out so they don't get broken. Its really not that heavy, just large.

Lightbulb

You can use the buddy approach mentioned or if you have access to a set of camper jacks or can borrow a set they are very handy. Lift up the bed and drive out from under. Just be sure to tripple check that everything is disconected first.

If you do not have access to a set of camper jacks or buddies to help out here is what I had to do once,

1: Disconnect everything. Including taillights.
2: Lifting one side then the other move the bed towards the back of the truck. repeat until touching tires.
3: Continue step 2 moving over rear tires until rear of bed touches ground.
4: Tilt bed up onto its tailgate. Did you remember to remove taillights?
5: Park truck back into driveway.
6: Open cooler and grab a beer.

Just curious, What are you replacing your bed with? Or are you looking to reduce weight and drag?

I welded up a H out of square stock, threw some hooks on it, and used a engine hoist to lift it.
