On the picture page there is a link to an article on the truck. Apparently the truck had been in his family for 30 years or so, built by his dad. he rebuilt it over a period of several years and only had about 200 miles on it before the accident. I guess he got slammed into which spun him around and across traffic before getting hit by a Suburban.
From the looks of the truck, he's lucky he's no dead. Not too many usuable parts off of that one

That is a shame and real sad to see, glad the driver is Ok. Looks like the cab stayed intact enough and the chassis did the job of saving him.
That does worry me as I am about to do a big drive in my F100 towing my caravan, with wife and dog on board.... Stay safe guys.
