Flow Direction of Trans cooler???
I installed the tru-cool from dieselsite last week and have noticed a nice drop in tranny temps. But...I piped the flow to the tru-cool first and then to the stock cooler, then to the tranny.
I was thinking it would be more beneficial to run through the stock cooler first then to the tru-cool, and back to the tranny. What do you think?
To do this I would just reverse the rubber lines that connect to the rigid lines behind the radiator. 10 minute job...I hope.

When I quizzed Brian at BTS, his recommendation is this: run it thru the radiator cooler (OTW) first (if equipped) then the bigger cooler second. He feels that the Tru-cool or a 6.0 cooler is good enough and just pitch the dinky stock cooler all together. He installed my 6.0 cooler in the stock location and I have the OTW lines and never see past 165 degrees pulling a load on a hot day in the Rockies. Just my thoughts. Maybe, Mark K. can comment on this, he's the tranny guru.
