It BETTER have a manual offered. I wont buy another truck unless it's a handshaker.

You know I wonder if ford is going to rid of the superduty name. There is no superduty written on the new hood.

Wonder why they're getting rid of the cast-iron heads for aluminum? Don't like the sound of that.

The weight savings will be beneficial, and if they do it right (that's a big IF) it can be just as strong or stronger with headstuds.

Why not exactly? GM seems to be having good luck with theirs, plus I'm sure the techs will love it if and when they have to do head gaskets on those suckers

Good teaser info. They better keep the Superduty and Powerstroke names. They are what Ford's big trucks are known for. I just hope that ugly hood is just for disquise. The 08 hood is awesome.

The tailgate still says SuperDuty. I don't think that will ever change.

Yes BUT that is the same tailgate that is on the current trucks. That is a new hood, if you look at it, it actually looks like it comes out and over the top of the grill. Maybe their hiding something? Maybe not? I think they should keep the Superduty name. But I'm not sure about the powerstroke name. I like it and all but with its recently stained reputation it may not be a bad idea.

The hood does come over the top of the grill. The grill is not attached to the hood like the current 08's...

super duty is ford's heavy truck line. whether or not they keep that is up to them.
Powerstroke is ford's name for their diesel engine. Just because it was previously supplied by navistar doesnt mean they couldnt keep the name.
whether or not they will? i hope they would.
