Thumbs up Vacation Pics

Hey all. Thought I'd post up a few scenery pics. Some goof ball kept parking his truck in my way, so you'll have to deal with that!!LOL

This is our cabin in Estes Park, Colorado

Here are a few pics from Rocky Mountain National Forest. This highway elevation goes up to 12,183 feet!

Here's a nice shot of the Grand Tetons, outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

And, here is a shot of one of the many lakes in Yellowstone.

Ran a total of 2500 miles on Black, she ran great the whole time. Averaged about 19 mpg for the whole trip. Diesel wasn't too bad, paid around $4.67 in CO and WY. The highest I saw was up in Dubouis, Wy. It was at $4.99.

Looks like you had a good trip, Pat. Good mileage on Black, too. Turbos work wonders in the high altitude.

Nice photos Pat, too bad the truck photos are cluttered up with all that scenery!

Man I miss living in that part of the country.

You know, it's absolutely beautiful up there this time of year, not too hot, no humidity. I just hated the winters when I lived out there in Wyoming. But then, I'm a weenie when it comes to cold!!LOL

My grandparents just sold their house about 2 miles east of Estes Park along the Big Thompson River, that was my favorite place to go. Nice in the summer, no BUGS, their water tastes the best, good 4th of July firework show, and the fishing is GOOD! Man am I gonna miss the free room and board up there. Looks like a nice trip!

I hear you about the price of diesel. I guess I've just become numb to the abuse!
