Great time to buy!

I saw on the news that Galpin Ford here in CA, (one of the biggest Ford dealerships) has over 400 F150 in stock that they are unable to sell. They have a sale on them for 1/3 off the MSRP window sticker price. That's 33% on a 2008 truck. Mileage is 13 in town and 17 highway. A 30K truck will go for 20K. WOW!!!!

something tells me that if you're like me and know exactly what you want, you're gonna walk on a lot and still not be able to find what you want...

Out of those 400 F150s, I doubt there are more than 5 heavy duty package models on that lot... and how many of those are 4x4... prolly none. heh.

Fosters- I just returned from Galpin Ford (which is 20 mins from me). They have 1/3 off on all F150's. They had plenty of 4X4's, Roush trucks, Heavy Duties, etc. In fact, I think they had more of those than the regular standard pickups. Even though they have the sale going, I didn't see very many people looking at trucks or even buying them. Looked to me that they still have 390 trucks to go. LOL....

That's crazy... I went to a local dealer last week and every single F150 they had was a crewcab of some kind it seems, with a few V6 2wd base trucks sprinkled in here and there...

the v6 isn't available on extended cab or crewcab... only the 4.6 and 5.4. so my bet is that it was a 4.6 2wd.

prices like that made me wanna go drive to phoenix to pick one up tho...
