Sell while you can. Today there is a 2000 eddie bauer expedition with 120,000 miles on it in very nice appearing condition on my local craigs list.... asking price $1200 or best offer. You have too many miles on it, although yours appears modded out, still the market is very weak, and atleast where I live the dealers are not taking them in on trades as the fuel prices have everyone dropping the expys like a hot potato.

Hey there

I'd completely jump. I understand the faithful piece, really really really do, but the deals are amazing right now. I just picked up an 05 with 31k eddie bauer everything, rear dvd, ac seats, tow, for $12k. I grabbed that and still kept my F150. Now I can tow with the family and two dogs.

My condolences to your possible loss, she gave you many good years and miles, sometimes it is just time.

Sometimes you just need to know to say enough. I feel you on the money you invested in your truck. Take the cash and move on...

Yeah if he's offering you 15 grand I would hop on it really quick. Besides nothings funner than starting a new project!! I sell all my cars once I get them modded out the way I want them simply because I enjoy fixing them up.

15k for a 98 is one hell of a offering price if the guy is serious about purchasing it. And considering what a 98 goes for at todays price, that is very generous. Even with the mods.
