All 4 door locks went out at the same time. I believe I have located a black module below the radio on the firewall which controls the door locks. Can someone tell me the Part number or name of the module. Thanks

I can give you the part number. Here's the description of it: Multi-function relay.

There should be an ID number on the relay, cast into the plastic cover (prolly includes 14xxx something).

There are dozens of different ones, and if I see the number, that'll be a great help.

I wouldn't want to give out the wrong info....and btw, what year is your truck...1999?

 

Hi, Its way in the back and hard to see the numbers. Its thin and long. There are many wire plugs connected on top. I can hear clicking noise from the module when I click on the power door switch. Its 1999 Ford F250 Diesel Super Duty. Thanks.

 

Parts catalog doesn't list a specific relay for the locks, because it's a multi-function type.

It only shows pics of the different types, and there's more than one.

EDIT: There's four different ones, so without the ID number, I can't help you...so...
