First set of Walmart tires

Just went through my first set of new tires with my PSD and I am very pleased with their performance. In 06 I got a set of Uniroyal Liberator tires from Walmart at a price of $108 each. Replaced them this weekend after 64000 miles of trouble free service. Still had quite a bit of tread left, IMO, but wife said they had to go. New set was $140 each and I hope I have the same success with them. I have been using the 285 size. Put on a set of Bilsteins also. $1000.00 weekend.

Were you running them on stock rims? I had them a few years ago and they were some of the best wearing tires I've had. I didn't get that kind of miles out of them due to the fit on the stock rim. Wore more in the center of the tread. I have 16x8.5" rims now and 285s fit great with max pressure.

Huck, my last tire,s, Bridgestone a/t revos, almost 70,000 on them. 5 tears ago, 145.00 for 265,s, now 186.00 for 285,s from tire rack. Great tires if you got the money, for sure.

I used Liberators on my old Bronco and they seemed decent. I didn't keep the truck long enough to know how long they lasted, but I liked them. I thought about trying them this time, but I think I'll stick with Good Years or Michelins.

Your vehicle only performs as well as your shoes(tires) That is wisdom I learned from a professional racer. Either way, tires are money well spent! Good job on the treads, hope you have many positive years in your relationship.

Wal-mart Liberator tires are made by Uniroyal. You can find them on their web site. I am on my second set on my 250 and love them. I had them on my 150 also before I traded it and they worked great also.
