Long cranking period before 06 F-250 psd turns over

Hey guys..The past 8 or ten times that i've gone to start my truck it had to crank for a lot longer than normal to turn over..Does anyone know why this might be. I havn't been driving it much as the fuel prices are horrible. It may sit for a week at a time before I fire her up. When I do drive it its to pull the boat out to the lake or I just get that itch you know......Thanks for the input. Jason

Batteries getting weak from sitting, cranks longer when they spin slow.

Maybe keep a trickle charger on it during the down times - can't hurt and may probably help.

Better drive it or you could be in for some Turbo problems.
