cf's are pretty cheap these days.
I use 2gig cards, they will hold 200 pics on highest resolution and 800 on std resolution.
Ocassionally us a 4gig card, but it takes forever to upload.lol
Make sure you get a usb cardreader for your computer, seems to be quicker on uploads
