95 F350 Diesel Problem..

My dad called and said his electronics on accelerator was messed up. Sometimes the truck will crank but only idle. Depress and nothing but idle. Said he could wiggle wires on the connector and fixed the problem. Took to a mechanic in his small town and was told needed to replace electronics on the accelerator. So, I ordered the assembly since it is one piece. Expensive ($315) from Ford. Went to the farm over 4th and installed. Worked fine after replacing so thought we were done. Jumped into truck to go to town and happened again... Once again, could wiggle wires and started working. So from this, sounds like a break in the wire at the connector or close by.. There are two connectors, one with three wires and one with two wires. I don't have the wiring diagrams on this truck. Can anyone tell me where these five wires go????
thanks

They all go to the PCM. The one with two wires is called the idle validation switch. that switch must close before the other one (throttle position sensor) will be able to give it input to the PCM. if he can wiggle the connector there and make it work chances are either the connector has a back connection or there is a wire broken right at the connector. His focus should be on the two wire connector.

If you need wiring diagrams, click the pic of my truck in my signature and I have complete wiring diagrams for the 94.5 to 97 trucks in my webshots.

Yeah I don't know what happened there. The site went dead for and hour or so. I guess I got two in quick before it croaked!

My post count has been falling behind lately though! Between other project and that thing called work I can't seem to post as much lately.
