let me re-introduce myself.
my name is garrett and i signed up here a while back, but never really posted much, and dont remember my account information on my last profile. anyways, my reason for joining this forum is my grandpas '56 f-100. im into european cars myself and own a mkiv gti, but we both put in plenty time on both cars. anyways, i hope to get a lot of help and get a lot of information from you guys, and have enjoyed looking through the forums prior to re-registering. here's the truck and specs:
Engine: ford 302 out of 78 mustang, high lift ru cam, holley lo-rider avenger carburator, holley aircleaner, little bit of chrome accesories
Trans: ford c-4
Front Clip: volare
Rear end: late model ford 9" with chrysler bolt pattern
Body modifications: shaved doors and mirrors, custom tailgate, yellow tinted turn signals (his idea, not mine lol), 1/2" grade #3 plywood bed wood, bed was reinforced with steel tube. gas tank relocated to bed, and an aircraft gas cap was used, .
Interror/Other accessory crap: vintage air heating/ac, tinted rear window, automatic windows, stewart warner guages, autometer tach, seats from a '00 expedition, grant woodgrain steering wheel. (interior still needs to be done)
and the wheels are boyd coddington, unsure of model
im probably leaving stuff out, but oh well. i have quite a bit of origional parts, as well as a COMPLETE pretrimmed set of RodDoor panels that we need to get rid of in case anyone's interested shoot me a message. thanks in advance for the help/inspiration/laughs
