2014 6.7 Warnings Go Crazy

I just purchased a 2014 6.7 diesel F-250 with 39K miles. After about 1500 miles it has started to go crazy every once and awhile. All of a sudden it starts to give me warnings in rapid succession starting with "Maintain Advance Trac", then "Low oil Pressure", Engine Overheated", Check Brakes" and more. The water and oil gauges go to "0". I stop, put it in park, set the parking break, and then release it. Everything clears at that point, gauges come back. What is going on?

Sounds like you have an electrical issue. Some wires grounding out somewhere, a connector loose, or something like that. If you just bought it, hopefully there is some type of warranty.

There's been a number of threads where posters with weird electrical issues have found a wiring harness located by the emergency brake pedal was loose and moving; they secured it and seemed to fix the issues.

You say that you engaged the parking brake (and released it), so maybe you also jiggled the harness enough to temporarily fix it.

Look down by the pedal.

Thanks very much.

I'll check that first thing in the morning.

^^This is what I would suggest also. There is a large cam-lock electrical connector (like 20-30 wires on each side) located near the emergency brake pedal assembly that tends to work itself loose. Many folks, myself included have had the "Service AdvanceTrac" message and have resolved it by disconnecting this large plug, cleaning the contacts with appropriate electrical cleaner, and plugging it back together to make sure that there is good contact. It seems that a lot of the network communication between the various computer modules in the truck passes through this connector and if things aren't just right, those communications get interrupted and you get a bunch of errors.
