Thanks for the welcome. I am driving a 2005 4x4 diesel Excursion. I live in Newport Beach. And I am now running the truck on B20 Bio. Until recently my truck has been under warrantee and has been serviced by Tuttle Click Ford. I am now looking for a good diesel mechanic that may be a little more reasonable. Any suggestions?

 

I know at least one of our members (Russ - Kepler4) has had work done at Tuttle-Click and was very happy with what they did for him.

I don't know about the rates as compared to T/C, but DieselTech in San Jacinto is a place I would recommend to work on these trucks. It's a long way from Newport, though.

Are you over 100k on that 05 already?

 

No I purchased maintenance/oil change policy from T/C which was promoted as open ended. They didn't mention time restriction. I am still under the manufacturers warrantee. I have 50,000 on it now. It just left a bad feeling in my wallet and pissed me off.

 

By the way - where are you buying B20?
