Looks like my truck won't be at in & out
Well Guys looks like my truck won't be at in & out But i will thats for sure.
at the mercy of the body man ya know that's how it goes though i still got my ranger though so she will have to be a small substitute teacher lol it will do for the day. really starting to not like perfectionist people at this point but i know that the work will be great on my truck and the paint will look good. then my trucks paint will be at a caliber that Dan will like i think even though the trucks won't be twins any longer i think that will be the ultimate test of quality of work. i looked at Dan's truck for inspiration of what mine could be like.

I'll 2nd what Mike said. My next project is a mildly built 390 with a strong tranny. Then mine will be back in the paint shop after I get the last of the dents out for a redo. I think I'm going to get a chromed bumper with a rubber step to finish it out this time. That will mean that I'll have some body work on the back from where someone hit it a long time ago and pushed that bumper into the body slighty. It wouldn't be noticable with the exsisting bumper. But, with a new bumper I'd better spend the time to correct that. Point is that is pictures my truck looks pretty sharp. It's also not bad in person. However, to perfect it I'll need to redo the paint job. But, she's due at this point anyways. I can tell the paint is getting thin and it's only a matter of time now. ;-)
Burgandy is going to look sharp !!!!

I'm going to do the MACCO thing again. I'll just do all the prep work myself and spend a little more time on it this time. So, it will be up to me as MACCO has to get these cars and trucks out quickly. Generally, with them it's two-three day max job.
I liked the job they did in the past and the warantee that came with it. I figure, if I only have to paint the truck every 10 years I'm good. ;-)

As much as I'd like to spend 4 or 5K on a paint job, I'd rather spend 600 or so every 10 years.....by my calulations, I'll die a few grand ahead
