There was an article in the paper here a few days ago about a guy who had two 60s era cars stolen, one restored and one waiting, on consecutive days. Figuring what happened after the second one he went to the local scrap yard and sure enough there were both his cars, ALREADY CRUSHED!
The good news is that they arrested the thief, the bad news is that neither car was insured, and the scrap dealer did not commit a crime under current law, so the rightful owner got nothing but two flattened hulks.

Ax, all I can say AAAUUUGGGGHHH!!!

I can't even come close to imagining what the guy felt and is feeling. I can imagine what he would like to do to the guy who stole them. (I know, but this is a family sight and we have to keep it G rated)
