Tires

Has anyone found a decent price for new set of tires for their SuperDuties with 18" tires? What is recommended brand. I am sick of the factor ones only 47k and looks like racing slicks

I'm running Firestone Destination M/T's but they're on 16 inch rims. I love these tires! Great traction and they already have the holes drilled for studs if you choose to go that route too. I'm pretty sure they make them for an 18" rim.

I use Cooper snow and ice in the winter, and Cooper muds for the summer. I have 'em in 16" but I know for a fact that Cooper makes 18"

I hear a lot of people don't like Coopers, but I go no other way. Gimme Coopers or I'll ride my rims! =D

lmao! Well, if you keep "restoring" your 65, maybe you can buy some brand new ones, along with windshiel wipers, a new right headlamp and a new belt! *just rambling, not sure if those need replacing or not* teehee

No, a luxery that's for rich folks are: a brand new muffler (rather than off of an old Chevy Love), a Mac Airfilter, a Turbo kit, and a new biggerengine....
