Hey all, let's be different and have some rain today. Sassy does all of Carl's spelling.
How is it down in T-burg today rain wise?? Up here by the big pond it is lightly raining. We do really need it, but it could come during the week so that at least we can enjoy the weekends.
We had a lot of rain earlier, now clear but, looks like more rain is coming. It's all a friends fault.... he is stripping off his old roof for re-shingling during his vacation, so we can expect another week of rain.
Sorry to say George but the hail that we recieved here a few weeks ago really did some major damage to all fruit crops. Some areas of the county had pieces of jagged ice/hail that fell and it sliced, bruised you name it to the fruit. One farm locally lost their entire crop of apples for fresh fruit sales which normally would bring around I think $800 for a 500lb crate or is it $500 for a 800 lb. crate....either way they will be lucky if they get $45 for the same amount to be used as juice.
