Spell checker-Have you noticed?

After the administers of the site revised the board I noticed a very useful upgrade-the spell check feature on the posting page. If you haven't used it yet you should. The first time you use it will ask to download a program, which will only take a couple of minutes.

The best part about it is once it's downloaded into your computer you can use it on any board you visit, even if it's in a different format than FTE, by right clicking and choosing "Check Spelling". On the FTE board you can use the right click or just click on the . I use it on the Ford Barn site. I works just like the spell check in your email program or word processing program.

Too bad Microshaft Winblows doesn't do it for you automatically....(Maybe they do....you probably have to pay extra to get it!! )

A good operating system includes a spell checker. Mine puts a red line under every word I misspell or capitalize wrong.

I suppose it will help some...if it's used. My favorite mispelled word is "yoke" as in driveshaft yoke. I can't help but snicker a bit when I see "yolk" used instead. Unfortunately, spell check won't help in some cases...
