Axle code?

well I'm just asking because there is a junk yard about 2 miles from me and they have a few 70's fords that are all 2wd but if I can identify a 4:10 ratio dana 60 with a limited slip, I plan on putting it in my 4wd f250

the codes I came up with are only up thru 72...I dont have the code info for 73-up trucks... the codes I came up with are C5..4.8M cap. , G3, 5.05M load rating. Both are dana 60.3E...what the point 3E means I have no idea...If theres a few trucks, it would be easier for whoever has the rear end codes for these and later trucks to have the codes you found on the door tags. That would IMO make it faster to figure out the codes.
Also, on my D60 in my beast the ratio itself is stamped on the tag bolted to the carrier with 2 of the cover bolts...wire brush and sandpaper would be a good thing to bring in that case.
