Efi Fuel Pump Noises
my 90 5.0 302 ford van i think im getting fuel pump noises from
the rear engine cover i removed cover can any body tell me
how can you tell if fuel pumps are on there wat out do they make
any noises in the front or rear it sounds like whiseling noies
like its comeing from the fuel line

The fuel pump is in the gas tank, so any noise you get from the engine is not related to the pump. Test the pressure on the fuel rail, it should be 35psi with vacuum and about 43psi without. A whistling noise could be anything from a leaking gasket to a broken vacuum line to a partially siezed bearing.
