I wish you the best. As I've gotten older I've come to realize everyday is a gift and I try not to take things for granted anymore. I know this is easy for me to say, but hard for you to do, but try to stay positive and focus more on the good things that happen. Tomorrow is a brand new day.

Buddy you and I have never met, or e-mailed. But I grew up in a house where "my dad left " my mom and myself six kids. He had numerous grandkids that he never met. I commend you and you're father for trying to patch things up. My "father" died sever years ago never knowing what "He" lost.I commend you and you're father for trying to make amends. All thought's and prayers are with you and you're family at this time.

Carl, so sorry to hear about your situation. As mentioned at least you and your dad have had time here to repair and build the bond that a father/son should have. Both of you along with your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I have always looked up to you and respect you and all that you have been through. I hate to see you go through this again.
When I went through my cancer ordeal several positives came from it. As painful as it is there tends to be a positve. It isn't always evident right away but in time it will come.
For me one good thing was I was talking to a brother that I hadn't talked to in about 10 years. I missed watching his children grow up. they were not at my wedding. Me getting sick kinda put things into perspective. Me getting sick helped to fix a divide.
We are pulling for you. Its a positive that you and your father were able to talk and build a relationship again.

Carl, you and your father are in our prayers, glad to hear that you and your dad made mends before he passes, hope he goes down knowing that he has his family there with him, you know you have family here too, and if you need to talk to anyone just give me and Mike a ring, you have been there for us and now we will be there for you, you are a great person. again you and your family are in our prayers and thoughts, keep us updated on things ok.
