M-block Head Wanted
I think one of the heads on the 351M I'm swapping into Dad's truck out of Rusty is cracked. So, I'm looking for an M-block head, preferably a D5AE-A2A to match the other one. Edit: Or, two matching heads as I could change both of them.
I say "I think" because coolant pours out one of #3's exhaust manifold bolt holes. I've got to check to see if someone drilled into the cooling passage or, more likely, the head cracked there.

78 f150 for sale
78 f150, 2wd, 302 no tranny or title. Not sure if the 302 is a runner, but I would doubt that it does. Body and glass are in pretty good condition, with the exception of the drivers side rear qtr. Looks like a blow out bent it up under the bed. No rust through that I have found. $500 405 833 1670

I have mostly 302 parts but the heads interchange. I have a set of e6 heads, blocks, cranks, new 302 dizzy for a roller cam, two sets of rods, one complete roller motor with carb.

1980 F-100 for Sale
1980 Ford F-100
Straight 6
Three has been converted from the tree to the floor
Bottom line, this truck runs and drives well. I've dumped a ton of money into it and wouldn't be selling it if I didn't have to. I'm moving out of the country.
My loss, your gain.
As the story goes, it sat for the better part of a decade before we got to it. With just a bit of TLC, it fired up! I've been steadily replacing and fixing things ever sense. The list of new parts is below.
It will make a quick restoration project for anyone handy with body work. There are your typical dents and dings expected of a 32 year old truck. I have the dent removal tools that I will throw in. The bumper is, as you can tell by the picture, still shiny chrome. It is flawless.
Most of the mechanical stuff besides the tree is done. The shifter has been converted from the tree to the floor. You could easily rebuild the column without the shifter and leave it on the floor, or the column can be rebuilt with the shifter. The guy over at Red's salvage on 23rd street in OKC rebuilds columns and there are kits for those brave enough to try it on their own. The column is causing the turn signals to work intermittently, but as of my trip across town today, they're working. I've tested the wiring and it is fine.Otherwise, it needs to have a timing light put on it and some small adjustments since I replaced the plugs and wires. I have the timing light, just not the time to do it yet.
Some perks:
Factory AC that blows cool but needs a charge, i.e. it holds pressure.
Spare studded rear snow tires with rims -
Full size mounted spare with cover -
Rear sliding glass that WORKS and does not leak -
Clean title -
Chilton and Haynes Repair and Care Guides -
New parts:
Rear tires (Wranglers) (front tires in great shape) -
Front and rear break pads/rotors - turned/brakes bled -
Starter and solenoid -
Battery cables -
Belts
- Fuel line hoses
- Spark plugs and wires
- Belts
- Clutch set
- Rear seal
- U-joint
- JVC AM/FM CD with bluetooth, and remote
- new door speakers
- Signal lights, headlights
- Side mirrors
- Windshield wipers
- and I'm sure a few more things I'm now forgetting.
$1700 or make your best offer. All reasonable offers will be considered. Seriously. Please do not hesitate to email or call if you have any questions!
Believe me, I'd rather sell the truck to someone who will care for it than a salvage yard, but I'm running out of time. I could also let it sit for three years in storage, but what would be the point in that??? It's a truck and it needs to be used.
