You guys are cracking me up!! Although, if you take the boat, I should probably go. She's kind of hard to handle at low speed. And, I should probably go without the family, you know, it could get dangerous out there, a bunch of guys, drinking beer, on a beautiful summer day.......
Somehow, this idea just got better!!

Most of the newer homes we've looked at have a rec room with a bar, some of them are wet bars. It's on my 'gotta have' list, along with a large garage. Although I think the "large garage" is evolving into "garage large enough for a fire truck"

My wife will be happy to know I might be finally growing out of my 'cowboy' phase... unfortunately, it looks like that could be replaced with a 'fire truck' phase. lol!
Childhood just goes too fast, a kid doesn't have enough time to go through all the "I wannabe _______ when I grow up".
FTE doesn't let you change your user name, so I may just have to stick with the current one.

Buy an old firehouse and renovate that at the same time. That way when the rest of us get in trouble at home we can stay there.

Randy - Sweeeeet! Unfortunately, you're not helping in talking me out of this idea!
Got to drive the fire truck today, man what a beast! It's got the Marmon-Herrington all wheel drive set up on it... I'm in waaaaay over my head on this. The owner really wants it to go to a new home, he's got a couple other projects that he decided are more in his interests.
I've got to go over to the old truck tech forum and ask some dumb questions about this. I figure if they can't help me, maybe they know someone who would really have the skills to buy this old fire truck.
