That's what I was seeing... I think I'll probably go with the 720p, I just hope there isn't some techy-thing going to happen in 2 years to make the 720 not work anymore! The sales guy said as long as I don't have a Blueray, I'd be fine.

you can still have bluray.. but it will only be in the 720p (still look great!) the blueray is in 1080i -- i have heard mixed reviews about it.. some people say that the picture is so clear that it appears you are just watching a reality show and not a movie.. lose the cinimatic effect.. i haven't watched one though.. my bro has it, but never watched a movie on it yet

Are you going to hang it on a wall, or use a stand? I hung mine on a wall. Didn't sleep at all the first night, kept waiting for the big CRASH of the tv ripping off the wall and hitting the floor!!LOL

well not sure yet... i was going to build a in-wall entertainment center but after i removed the drywall i found a dang load bearing post.. so i have to see if I can work it around that or not.. if not, then i will buy the wall mount.. but if I can make the pocket in the wall for the tv.. i want to do that

Hey, that sounds kind of cool. You'll have to put a pic up if you can do that.

Ha! I feel your pain, man! Same with me! I'd been trying to finish my basement for years, but if she didn't have some dire important project needing finished, someone else always had something. Finally, last Sept. I said enough is enough, and told her that I was going to finish my basement before I do anything else! Managed to get it 99% done, just have to build a few shelves, and get the brass foot rail for the bar.
