2007 Dodge Charger

I'm looking at an 07 Charger (not getting rid of my Flareside, just also find I need a car) - anyone know much about them? Are they good, reliable cars? Should I be concerned about anything?

Its a 3.5 L V6 - not a monster Hemi, but I find it has more than enough power for a 4 door sedan. It currently has 28,000 KM (approx 17,000 miles) and the asking price is $14,500 Canadian. Sound like a good deal?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Glenn

Look 'em up here and compare:

New Car Prices and Used Car Blue Book Values - Official Kelley Blue Book Site

I think they run the prices a bit high there. Also, google the car itself and you may find some for sale on ebay and craigslist.

Good luck.

There ok I guess if you like the looks. To me, that car doesn't deserve the charger name. To waste the name on a 4-door ugly sedan. Personally, I would get a fusion, "wait", I did get a fusion ha ha. They look awesome and get great mpg with good power and handling. Also there rated real high on quality.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Low km's for a decent price. If it's a clean car I say go for it.

I can't tell you about any problems, etc. Check out a Dodge forum and see what's going on there.

Let us know how it pans out.

I cant tell you about the charger part, but my buddy has a four door chrysler (i forget the model of it right now) with the 3.5 liter and he loves the car. It gets great mpg (according to him) and has lots of power for a 6'er.
He had to take it in the other day to get something minor fixed on the car, and it wasnt engine related.

Agree with you there Wendell. It looks fairly ferocious from the front, but that's about it. I've seen a couple in that flashy green paint that weren't too bad looking, but it's a decal wagon. Not a bad car, just not a Charger.

Most of the New Police Cruisers are equipped with the 3.5 with a Chip installed. Here in Louisville,Ky. the Dodges are outrunning the C V's! That's IMOPO!

Sorry to hear it, you'll be in a fusion by this time next year ha ha. The car is big and bulky and way over weight, chrysler is bad for that. The new challenger weighs in at 4,200 pounds, compared to 3,400 and some change for a mustang GT and the stang is considered heavy. I sold dodge for awhile back in 04, I liked the neon and the trucks the best. They still had a lot of quality control issue in 04 that I hope they have resolved under cerbus. It should be a good car, if it just wasn't so fat and fugly ha ha, good luck with it and the 3.5 is a good engine, no problem there. The 3.5 doesn't do all that bad on fuel either and has plenty of power. Still can't help but think how much better on fuel the charger would be if it was stream lined a tad with Jenny Craig. Don't go playing Dukes of hazard, you'll be allright.
