I have an F350 7.3 diesel that ran fine, started, died and now won't start. I had taken it in for a cam position sensor replacement (racall), drove it home. I have since re-replace the cam sensor as an inexpensive test. It still won't start. The wait to start light comes on & goes out. The glow plug solenoid checks out, there is power to the outgoing brown and yellow wires. Two codes show up 0562 (low power but that is with the enging not running) and 1396 (glow plug sensor on bank 2). I understand that that will cause a check engine light to come on but not a No-Start condidtion. I tried starting when switched to each of the fuel tanks (assuming that there is a pump in each one). All of the fuses in the panel test OK for continuity (in place, I haven't pulled them). I did pull the breakers and the test OK. My alarm system seems to work but I know that it is capable of preventing the engine from starting. I don't know how to test it though.
