That truck looks like it has a leveling kit, you sure its stock? Maybe it has X-code springs at least?

exactly what i was thinking.

33's would be on the small side, but you could pull it off if you got a 10" wide wheel with 4.5" backspacing or less. i run 35's under 5.5", so the ration of lift to tire is probably close.

I know its not going to look ideal or even good. Until I get new tires I'm fine with it looking just "okay"... But I'm not gonna do it without seeing pics of someone that's done it.

Oh, and bbender... Dude I love your truck. When's the next time you think you're headed to Silver Lake with it?

My 285/75R16's are 32.8 inches tall.

Stock height, even a little lower, because of spring sag. Not as wide as 33x12.50x16.5's like I had on my highboy though...

I'm running 285/65/18 (about 32.6) on my stock 99. I just bought the tires and I wanna get the truck up a bit. I figured 4 inches would be safe because I could build up off a new set of front springs later when I wanna go higher and get whatever height new rear springs when the time comes.

4 inch and 35's

Gotta admit the 35's seem to match the look of the truck a little better with a 4 inch lift, 33's look just a little small.

Me and my buddy have been wantin to take our quads up there to ride around on the dunes. But it's like a 3 or so hour drive from here so we planned on headin up there some Saturday night and campin out somewhere and then ride all day Sunday. Might have to try headin up there for the 4th weekend.

It does have X code springs. No other mods besides tires and wheels, I have had it since new.
