Your not going to Belive this!

But my friend Jack, He "used" to be my Empolyee, but I fired him because? Well just read on and you will know.... Jack took his new wife Barb and his 2 stepsons up to the Gila River to go Rafting, Along with them went another couple with a 5 year old. Jack brought some Makeshift raft made of 2x4's and plywood with some inertube's tied to the bottom! In fact jack even forgot to bring paddels with him! He went back to his Brothers house in Mammoth to make some out of scrap pieces of wood! No Lie! So not long after they get out on the River? Well you can All Imagine! The Raft turned over they were swept about 1.5 miles down stream!

OK Now to the Good Part! Because of Jacks Stupidity!! He Closed down Hwy 77 for 3 + hours Because thats where they had to land the Rescue Helicopter! Jack and the 2 Boys made it back on there own right after dark about 8pm But the other family members were not back yet with the 5 yo kid, They were found OK about 930 pm that night!

I can only say that Jack was just Barely smart enough to have everyone wear life vests! because of this NO one Drowned! Thank GOD!

Jack was told of the Risks he was taking when he went to make them Paddels at his brothers house By our Friend Rick who works for me now!
Rick and I were talking about how the River was High this year, And HE WAS told It's not a good Idea!

NOW! Should we have to pay for Jack's Mistakes?
I think the State should send him a Bill!

The 5 year old? To me that is Negligence!

What is your Thought's?

True Story Mark!
Ya know... He never has had to pay for any of his Stupid Mistakes! That is one of the reason's he no longer works for me, They should Charge all the Adults with Indangerment of a Minor and Somehow make them pay what it cost.

If you really want to do a thing like that, the wife and support group should be ashore, and following the thing.

NO WAY a youngster should be on it! It's a high risk venture...

I thought Thor Heyerdahl was THE BOMB! ("RAH" and "KON TIKI") But all of his crews knew the risks, were picked volunteers, and they had full support on their adventures.

You're saying this reflected on his work?

Ahhh! Oh yeah, that could be a disadvantage....

You know, at risk of being HIGHLY politically incorrect here - there is a very good reason I can never be homosexual:

I'M ALLERGIC TO BUTTHOLES!!!

They bring on a very strong reaction which leads more or less directly to swelling of the hands, knuckles, and fists...

It's kinda like a bee sting, come to think!

You would have to see the Gila to know How dangerous this was! Overhanging branches Barbed wire fences across it some areas where there is no way you could get out of the water,

I agree it should be just like the stupid motorist law, my company hauls a lot of them every year and we never get paid. so it make the bill higher for the ones who do pay.
