I followed one of these miser's to work the other day.6-8 MPH under the speed limit for about 8 miles.It had traffiic backed up about the same distance...the flying "one-fingererd" salute from just about 1/2 the people that got around it. From a notoriosly dangerous merge area came a 28' Box-truck, trying to merge into traffiic of course...the Prius driver suddenly found some turbine-power or something and started operating like a complete idiot, trying to deny the truck access....I just backed off and watched the carnage insue...wasn't as good as seeing the wipers coming off the cowl like the U=tube vidio, but pretty amusing nonetheless..LoL

I agree completely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can we elect Billy Bob for president? Maybe after he shoots all the prius cars, he can start in on the owners!! Thats the funniest thing I've seen in years!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that'd made it better is if he'd been driving a monster truck and drove over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife's friend and our neighbor has one of those things. 40 MPG is the best it's ever done and think that was going down hill. I think it will be interestting to see how it does over the long haul. I can't wait to hear her belly ache about the cost when she needs that new battery. They have yet to explain the cost of saving the environment from that lethal dose of chemicals when the scrap those batteries. I'm not a big fan of the Escape hybrid but at least Ford was a lot more honest about the mileage and I did drive one which had quite a bit of pep.
