For those who like the "big" stuff
Greetings everyone,
I've been away from FTE for quite some time. It's been a real crazy past 2 years, but things are finally getting back to normal. I've really missed this place, and all of you. Once in a while I got a chance to log in and read a little, but haven't had time to post. I hope that everyone is doing well.
For those that appreciate the big trucks..............
My dad just finished restoring his 1960 F-100 single axle tractor. it was a complete ground up resto. I created a gallery and put up some pics.
1960 Ford F550+ 4x2 - My Dad's 1960 F-1000
He just got back from a show out in Kansas, and the truck was a real hit. It will be at the show in Macungie PA from June 12-14.
I hope to be around here more often now.
Take care

Thanks
Thank you for the warm welcome back.
Dad is very proud! The truck is going to be in a 2011 calendar, and is supposed to be featured on the cover of "Wheels of time" magazine in some future issue.
I promise to take some more interior shots next weekend at the truck show in PA., and I'll add them to the gallery. I'll be up there on Saturday.
The truck runs as smooth as she looks. The 534 gets between 3-5 MPG.
Ford's 534 was part of a new line of heavy duty truck engines for 1958. There were 3 displacements....the 401, 477, and 534. They stayed in production through the 1981 model year.
