My battery recently died due to the fact that I forgot to turn off my lights. Since then, I have charged my battery and everything works fine except for my speakers. There is no sound what so ever. I have two 6x9's in the back and two stock speakers in the door of my 92' Ranger. I also have a Kenwood amp but I do not know the wattage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
are the speakers hooked up the amp? check the fuse on the amp and the one going to ur battery. try playing with the cd player settings. other than that im stumped...
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Sep-02 AT 10:46 PM (EST)]Thanks. Yeah I'm pretty sure that the speakers are hooked up to the amp. I'll see what i can do tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes.
do you have some sorta fader control that gets reset to a standard setting after a interruption of the power supply?
on my set-up, if the power is cut off, when I turn the stereo (after power is reapplied) my subs won't have any output, so i have to adjust the stereo and the gain on it and stuff...
hope this helps ya!
Turns out it was just a little 15 watt fuse under the amp that I must have overlooked. Thanks for all your help guys. It's nice to know that there are some helpful people out there.
